Spring 2009 Workshop Programme
The Spring 2009 Animation Station Workshop Programme is full of creative fun for all ages. To start the year off, the Animation Station is thrilled to have Simon Hook, director of children's BBC series MI HIGH, running a movie-making after-school club, starting on the 21st January. This is a great opportunity to film, act, direct and edit a mini movie with an award-winning professional director.
In February and March there are two new digital photography workshops for adults, run by professional Fleet Street photographer Matt Prince. This is a great chance to spend two days with someone who will show you how to get the best out of digital portrait photography.
February halfterm includes everyone's favourites...CLAYMATION and CUT-OUT animation. There is also a new Photoshop workshop for children to enable them to magically manipulate images on screen to create something totally unique!
Our Easter programme has four workshops to choose from, starting with Crazy Claymation, where those who love creating plasticine people can make a Morph-like character and watch it come to life on screen. For those of you who love LEGO, you can bring along your own LEGO favourites and make a mini-movie and see your toy come to life for the first time.
In week two, there is a chance for absolute beginners to try their hand at 3D computer based animation, using 3D Studio Max. To round off the holidays the Animation Station is thrilled to have The Evil Twins back, for a madness and mayhem workshop using FLASH - they're always great to work with.
Come and join in experimenting with creative digital technology at the Animation Station this Spring.
